So I'm bored and looking at the illustration blog and saw a name I recognized and found this; so good! It really has a likeness to you; don't know what it is; maybe the eyes? Or the green shirt; you seem like you would wear a green shirt a lot...

LOL I'm nearly 11 weeks old and I prefer going on the grass now... but sometimes I don't get further than the doormat on the patio, especially if its raining out. Teagan x

Hey, I think that would be a great idea... chasing a tasty car with a ball tied to it, double fun! Re the chihuahua thing, my mum's not got much time for little mini-pooches but being only little myself at the moment I can't say a lot until I've grown up! Teagan x

My 11 month old golden, Lexi, acts in a similar manner. She'll chase after a tennis ball for a little bit, but will quickly lose interest. I, as most dog owners, have purchased several toys for her that she has promptly destroyed. One such toy was a Kong Wubba. However, this toy has a thick rubber ball as its base component that squeaks as well. She loves to play fetch with this ball and I suspect its because of the fact that it makes noise. So, I would recommend you either buy a sturdy, squeaky ball and give that a shot or by the Kong Wubba and once your golden destroys it you can use the resulting rubber ball. Good luck!

I happened upon your site due to a google alert I have for rat terriers. I think you are right, the college years may very well be the best years of your life. A lot of people aged 18-22 do not understand that and fail to enjoy college life to its ultimate limit. I am glad you get it and I hope you have fun....btw, be sure to live through it.

I think you have to figure out what is unique to you and write about that. Jack Benny said he could never be imitated because he reminded everyone of their tightwad uncle.

As far as I know I have the first physician bluegrass fiction writer weblog. I figure a whole lifetime will take a while to write about.

i guess you need to ask yourself what are you trying to get out of this blog?

I think most people have a blog more for themselves than for the whole world to see. Its also nice to keep track of thoughts that you might later want to look back on.

But yeah, I agree with the struggle of seeing an image in your head but then when it comes to putting down on paper thats a whole other story! I guess it really comes down to training the hand to follow the contour of the work you are ttying to acheive.

In other words...practice, practice, practice! I have issues (like a lot of artists) with hands and different poses of hands. But, its just one of those things that I need to continuously challange myself on so it will come more naturally.

I can definitely attest to the fact that we [artists] are our own worst critics!
